24th Abingdon (Dry Sandford) is a thriving Scout Group, providing high quality Scouting to young people from Wooton, Dry Sandford and the surrounding area. We are always keen to welcome new members, though please be aware that we may be operating a waiting list, particularly in the younger sections.

We are located in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside within easy reach of both Oxford and Abingdon and just a few miles from the activities available at Youlbury. This makes us a  popular choice for groups looking for a secure and affordable campsite. Visiting our Site Bookings and Activities Information pages to find out more about what we have to offer, including air rifle shooting and activities-in-a-box.

Young people first: safeguarding and safety in Scouting

Wherever we go and whatever we do, we put young people’s safety and wellbeing first.

It is the policy of The Scout Association to safeguard the welfare of all members by protecting them from neglect and from physical, sexual and emotional harm. The Young People First (Yellow Card) is available to view and download on the Scouts website.
